Now is your chance to be a part of one of the fastest-growing sports in North America. Differentiate your organization from the competition by supporting this thrilling, action-packed, competitive local youth sport and gain valuable exposure with a diverse and influential fan base.
A recent Women’s Flat Track Derby Association Demographic Survey has shown that 85% of roller derby audiences have at least some college education, and that they are spread through all income ranges and age groups (with the majority of fans aged 35 and younger).
The Southern Alberta Junior Roller Derby Association (SAJRD) is a diverse group of parents and players representing the Foothills / South Calgary Regions who have come together in the spirit of promoting fun and excitement through the entertaining, family-friendly team sport of competitive Roller Derby.
Junior roller derby offers a unique alternative to more “traditional” youth sport – encouraging individual expression and growth while based on the principles of community, fair play and friendly competition. Driven by volunteerism, all aspects of SAJRD league formation and operation is organized as a not-for-profit and on a purely volunteer basis.
Your much-appreciated sponsorship dollars will be used to fund such critical items and initiatives as team uniforms, practice space, transportation and incidental costs for away games, off-track team-building excursions, and targeted recruitment campaigns.
Non-monetary and gift donations are also welcome. For more information, or to inquire about SAJRD’s adopt-a-player program, please email us.
